How it works
From platform testing to go-live
We do not switch over in a single click. We build a test set with four order scenarios, run seven days in parallel with your existing process, and only then switch off the old flow. No surprises on day one.

Platform confirmation
day 1-2
We test against your exact version of Shopify Plus, WooCommerce 8.x or Magento 2.4 — not a lab build. Version differences can otherwise cost weeks of debugging later on.

Building the test set
day 3-5
Four scenarios: standard product, variant (size/colour), bundle (gift set), return. We work through them until both sides of the integration agree — stock, status, refund.

Stock import
day 6-7
First mass sync: SKUs, variants, stock levels, location mapping. We check for duplicates and orphan SKUs and flag them to your catalogue team.

Live test (parallel run)
7 working days
Your existing process keeps running while our integration also pulls the orders. We compare both systems daily to confirm they produce the same result. Any discrepancy is debugged before the switchover.

Switchover & monitoring
On a quiet day (usually Tuesday) we switch off the old flow. During the first week we monitor throughput times and exceptions every day. After that it runs on autopilot.

For Shopify (Plus and standard), WooCommerce, Magento 2, Shopware 6, Lightspeed and CCV Shop. Maintenance stays with us.
Real-time stock sync
Stock updates are pushed to your shop within ten seconds. No manual imports or cron jobs on your side.
Order pull every 30 sec
New orders appear in our pick queue within half a minute. For Shopify Plus we run on webhook (1-2 sec).
Track-and-trace push
Shipping labels and tracking numbers are sent back to your shop automatically. The customer sees them in their account and in the confirmation email.
Bundle and variant support
A bundle (3 products in 1 gift set) is split automatically during picking. Variants (sizes, colours) are kept synchronised at SKU level.

Multi-shop sync
Bol.com alongside Shopify, or a UK shop alongside an NL shop. Stock stays a single source; orders from both channels come into the same queue.
For the standard platforms (Shopify, WooCommerce, Magento, Shopware) we are live within 5-10 working days. Custom platforms via REST/GraphQL typically take 2-4 weeks, depending on scope.
Is there a sandbox environment?
Yes. During onboarding you receive a sandbox shop with test orders. We run seven days in parallel with your production environment before switching off the old flow — so no surprises on go-live day.
What if our platform is not on your list?
Our developers build a custom integration against your REST or GraphQL API. Two to four weeks, depending on scope. We provide a fixed price upfront.
Who maintains the integrations?
We do. Shopify updates or a new Magento version are tested in the sandbox before we deploy to production. Your team will not notice a thing.
What about data breaches or API rate limits?
Our WMS has a dedicated rate limiter and a retry layer for each platform. If the shop side goes down, we queue events for up to 24 hours and process them once the connection is restored.
